Intrepid partner with South Africa’s Black Mambas

Intrepid Travel has recently engaged in an impactful collaboration with the Black Mambas, South Africa’s pioneering all-female anti-poaching unit. In time for World Female Ranger Day on 23 June, this partnership highlights the remarkable role of women in conservation and the transformative effects they have on their communities.

Since 2013, the Black Mambas have been a formidable force in the Greater Kruger National Park, dedicating their efforts to safeguarding wildlife and empowering local women. Their relentless patrols have significantly reduced poaching incidents while promoting female leadership in conservation.

Meet the Black Mambas
